Carole Murphy is the founder and former owner of M & C Association Management Services, Inc., which holds the prestigious AAMC® designation from the Community Associations Institute (CAI). In 2005 M & C Association Management joined Associa, the largest company in the United States devoted exclusively to the management of community associations.

Ms. Murphy has earned the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) and Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA®) designations from CAI and has been involved in community association management for over 27 years. She served on the Blue Ribbon Committee that founded the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers and has chaired or served on many national committees. Ms. Murphy is a member of the National Faculty for Community Associations Institute and teaches community association management throughout the United States. Ms. Murphy founded the Central Valley Chapter of CAI in 1991 and serves on the Bay Area and Central California CAI Chapter as program coordinator for the Central Valley area. She was recently elected to serve on the CAI Research Foundation Board and the California Legislative Action Committee.
