I joined Certified Management, Inc. in 1994 after retiring from the United States Army. In January 2007, I was promoted to Senior Vice President for Education and Training, where I became responsible for the development and execution of a company wide training and education program all of our company's employees. Additionally, I am responsible for the education and training of all of our new and current Account Executives, Board members and Resident Managers. I am still active as an Account Executive and manage a portfolio of full-service AOAO's. Prior to that, I was Vice President of the Account Executive Division, where I assisted in overseeing the day-to-day operations of all of Certified Management's Account Executives as well as performing a myriad number of other responsibilities as assigned to include being a Quality Performance Team Leader supervising and assisting assigned Account Executives team members in performing their day-to-day activities. I am also fully accredited with CAI's designations of AMS®, CMCA® and PCAM®. Over the last twelve years, I have been active in CAI's Hawaii Chapter attending professional seminars and have served as a facilitator, as a Chairperson and as Co-Chairperson for CAI's Basic ABC Seminar for several years as well as acting as the Co-Chairperson for the Advance ABC Program Seminar training program. Currently, I am a member of the Board of Directors of the Hawaii Chapter of the Community Association Institute serving as its Vice President. In 2007, I was awarded Associa's Individual Achievement award at the winter conference. On a personal note, I am married to Rosalind V. Denys for 15 years and have resided in Hawaii for 23 years. I have accumulated over 30 years of successful, progressive leadership and personnel/property management experience in both the private and federal sectors. I have extensive operational experience in advising and routinely working with senior U.S. and foreign officials at the highest levels working as political-military advisor, coordinating and overseeing civil-military operations, disaster relief operations as well as a multitude of other humanitarian projects throughout the Asia-Pacific Basin. In the same vain, as a veteran and concerned about homelessness of our vets, I have been assisting a national non-profit organization, U.S. VETS – Hawaii, at Kalaeloa (formally Barbers Point Naval Air Station) as a member of their Advisory Board of Directors. Additionally, I have been an Adjunct Professor at Chaminade University of Honolulu for 20 years teaching various disciplines. I hold bachelor degree from Saint Louis University and master degrees from Central Michigan University (Personnel Management and Supervision) and from Campbell University (Government).
